It's not necessary to close your eyes but I find that doing that helps me to focus in on God better as it removes the distractions of the world around me.

Well I TRY to live for God. I know I don't always do a great job, but I guess that's the beauty of mercy and unconditional love. As part of that, I also live for my students. I'm a year 1/2 teacher and I love all of them! Some of them are more challenging than others, but I get to show them...

I'd say be careful. All those things are okay in moderation and I know that from my own personal experiences it also depends on the time of day and your mood. I would say that being alone late at night while you're tired is a bad idea because that's when you're more likely to make poor decisions...
