  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Communion/Eucharist/Lord's Supper

Which, of course, I don't see as a valid reason.

    Communion/Eucharist/Lord's Supper

This is a great question! I have never been a part of a congregation that practices the Supper weekly. Although, I agree with you, that this is something we should do every time we meet. I think, sadly, that a lot of the reason it turns into a "scheduled thing", has to do with time and convenience.

    What exactly is hell?

I think the only certainty we have on the subject, and the only thing that matters really; is that those in Hell will experience eternal separation from God. The presence of fire, or torture, or darkness, is trivial and laughable in comparison to THAT.

I believe we have no sin, as said in John 1:29 & John 16:8 KJV.

I'm sure we will all be provided a life changing explanation from the OP on this one. "As quoted from the KJV Bible."

    Facebook

I want to delete mine. It's ridiculous how many people would "freak out" if I did.

    Work Problems

Do you have any sort of HR rep? That doesn't even matter, really. You need to go to whoever is in charge of you and file a complaint. ASAP! Prayers for you!

    Where do I belong?

Indeed. There are indeed "dispensations" in Scripture! I was merely referring to the Tim LaHaye "Left Behind" theology that is taken for truth in many SBC churches.
