• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
• We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Please Pray for Tom - He has spinal meningitis

My brother-in-law has spinal meningitis. This is a possibly fatal infection. Please pray that God will heal him. Also, pray for his family that they would have peace during this time.

Children go straight to Heaven?

"Yes, man is born into a world full of sin, we are not perfect so we are all sinners -- we all become sinners when we knowingly go against God's law. Does a baby do this?"I am sorry but this is heresy.

Children go straight to Heaven?

In this passage, God is speaking with his choosen people, the Israelites. It is speaking about the promised land. How does this passage in Numbers relate to the church today? If it does relate, then it should be thought in this light... The children of the CHURCH (meaning children of...

Our inability to save ourselves, or John was a Calvinist!

A, God commands that we preach the word, but that doesn't mean that God is limited to saving individuals through us. We are commanded to preach, and we should. It is just how God wants it. It's not so much, "How can God save someone with out your/my help?", as much as it is, "How can God NOT...

"For Whom Did Christ Die?"

...but you claim ALL are justifed. You contradict yourself.

"For Whom Did Christ Die?"

So even if I refused your cake, I would still be justified?

"For Whom Did Christ Die?"

So, effectually, justication does diddly squat?

Our inability to save ourselves, or John was a Calvinist!

God can bring anyone whom he wills to salvation. Nothing is impossible for Him. This is not regarding salvation, which this entire thread is about. Of course we are responsible for giving to the needy because we are physically able to do so. However, salvation is in God's hands. Without God, no...

Is anyone else tired of the shallowness of contemporary Christian music?

puriteen18, PDI is now called sovereign grace ministries and can be visited at http://www.sovereigngraceministries.org. I go to a church that is a part of that family of churches. Their music is much better than the normal CCM that you would find in most churches. One song of theirs that is...

"For Whom Did Christ Die?"

Ben, Do you believe that justification came to ALL men? ALL meaning every single individual. If so, then how can some people go to hell? Can a justified person go to hell?

A Question for Calvinists

I am not arguing with Paul's words I am agruing with your interpretation of his words. When it says Christ is the savior of all men it does not mean that Christ saves all men. It can't mean that because we know that not all are saved. Many are called few are choosen. Yet it does say that Christ...

A Question for Calvinists

Your definition of saved must be defined by your own dictionary. God can only be a savior to those whome he actually saves. It's like saying a lifegauard is the savior of all the people drowning in the pool, especially those whom he actually pulls out of the water. Obviously he isn't the savior...

A Question for Calvinists

Ragman, you said Christ is the Savior of all men, especially those that believe. Let's take a look at this verse and see what it means first before we use it to back up our position... 1Ti.4:10For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who...

A Question for Calvinists

You have asked a very good question. First, God has His people whom He elected. This is clear in the Bible I and assume that that is already accepted as truth.1Pe 2:9 But ye are a elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may show forth...

OSAS? What do you believe?

I don't agree on your basis for why God chooses people. If God chooses people because they first choose Him then he didn't really choose them at all. In fact, He then just recognizes or acknowledges their choice of Him and in a sense doesn't have a choice in who comes to Him. If there was a...
