  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Does it seem that a lot of creationist arguements look a little like one of these

its funny I was thinking that evolutionists arguments looked a lot more like that.

    Christian College vs. Secular University

you should pray, and pray some more. It is a difficult decision, try to weigh the pros and cons of each. Always keep in mind: Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? -2 Corinthians 6:14...

    Oh the Joys of sin . . . .

I can't remember what the verse was but it goes something along the lines of: He who breaks but one of these comandments, it is as if he broke them all.

    Near Death Experiences

Well before this incident he was an athiest art professor. After he went to study theology and became a pastor. So I would say that his faith obviously improved. And I suppose you are right. The Bible does not rule out life on other planets. Stuff to think about

    Oh the Joys of sin . . . .

Spawn, are you unfamiliar with why Jesus Died? accidently walking out of the store with something is not a sin, and God knows this. and when you have realize what you have done and rectified, you are now blameless of this sin. We are now getting into what is classified as a sin, this is a very...

    Oh the Joys of sin . . . .

certainly it isn't a sin to accidently do something and God will know that. But it is up to you to make it right. If you walked out of the store and accidently forgot to pay for the pack of gum, not a sin. But after you realize it and do not go back to pay for it, then it would become a sin. I...

    Oh the Joys of sin . . . .

I am only stating what the bible teaches. A sin is a sin. Me personally, I would much rather befriend the guy who stole a pack of gum over the guy who commits genicide. However in gods eyes, if you steal a pack of gum you are still a sinner. That is why we are all guilty of sin and why jesus...

    Oh the Joys of sin . . . .

I once heard a sermon that put this perfectly into perspective. If there is a man walking in a jungle gets mauled by lions and is completely mangled beyond recognition, obviously killed. and another man dies peacefully in the night of old age; which of these men is more dead? Sin is sin is sin...

    Near Death Experiences

I recently read Howard Storm's book, my descent into death. It was quite a book, but I try to take these stories with a grain of salt. has anyone in here read this and how did you react to it. Me personally I was quite impressed with his transformation, however in his conversation with the...

    Adultery or Sexual Immorality? Difference?

Does anyone know the original translation. Was adultery in those days considered to be the same as sexual immorality?

    Tithing...do you give 10%?

I am sorry for my ignorance. I was under the impression that tithing meant that you gave 10 %. anything else was considered an offering. I have been misinformed for some time. I feel so foolish.

This must be the sickest ever statement on the Tsunami catastrophe

I checked out his site. I have never seen so much hate. He should realize that compassion and love bring people to christ not hate. The idea is to bring as many people to heaven as we can, not scare them away. It is unfortunate that he will likely turn many permanantly away from Christ. Satan is...
