  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Grandparents rights

We had custody of our granddaughters for 4 years while their parents worked through some issues. When we returned custody to their parents, they had it written in the agreement that we had reasonable visitation rights as long as all parties agreed to the timing and length of visits. The girls...

Ya know...it's funny...I take time to give references and all I get back is opinions..how about dealing in FACTS people? I provided my sources and quotes. Oh well...I guess I can't expect the same level of research out of everyone...see y'all around!

Here's a little information on the Plan B birth control. It is NOT RU486 which will cause an abortion if you're already pregnant. If you're already pregnant (i.e. roughly 8 days after ovulation when the fertilized ovum implants in the uterus) it won't disrupt the pregnancy. Plan B...

Simon_TemplarMy parents raised 8 kids on one teacher's salary. The point being that there is always a way. Second, I'm all for helping the poor and the needy, BUT the simple fact of the matter is that welfare/government programs don't. It doesn't get people out of poverty and dependence...

I did. I took the time to research my answers to you...now I know that I need to save it as plain text instead of in Word.

Its called a heavy dose of life. Homelessness, catastrophic health issues, etc. I see what your side offers...rape is the woman's fault because men can't be trusted to control themselves around a woman who might not have everything covered. "Abortive methods of birth control"...what a joke! If...

You know, I used to think just like you...then I opened my eyes to reality. I'm still waiting for a reasonable address of these points. I am not arguing convenience over morality, I'm asking you to address the HARD question here. Do YOU have the right to decide for the entire population? Do you...

How about substantially attempting to refute everything I've said? No smokescreen...just something to think about...that is if you can actually get your mind around it. I'm not crazy about abortion, however there are two points to consider...first...not everyone shares my POV (yes I am pro-life...

Ahhh yes, the one trick pony. Let's make sure all the babies get born but make sure there is absolutely no safety net for the families that can't afford them. Let's make sure that women can't have access to birth control (unless they can afford the full price), Let's force our morality on...

    The dambable tax exempt status

This is not a topic that needs my politics. I answered you and I am not thinking too kindly of your brand of Christianity with your disparaging remarks. I see no need to justify my politics to you, evidently you've read many of my other posts. You (and those like you) cannot accept that I do not...

    The dambable tax exempt status

How on earth is this an infringement on "separation"? Regardless of my political leanings, I stated that if you don't like it then start a church and pay taxes. The tax exempt status is an advantage for churches, as it is something that does not impact their revenue, leaving more to do what they...
