  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

How much did you gain w/ your pregnancy?

I gained 33 with my first and 28 with my second. What's funny is that it took me 4 months to lose the weight with my first baby and only two weeks to lose it from the second.

    Vbac?

Oh, and you can always switch providers, even at the last minute. A couple of military wives I know PCSed at 38 or 39 weeks and changed doctors. One girl I know changed doctors at 37 weeks and still had a VBAC with her new doc :).

    Vbac?

I just had a VBAC two weeks ago in the hospital with an OB. I actually had never met him until I was in labor and everything went really smoothly. My doctor during pregnancy wasn't particularly supportive but I didn't have any complications so they agreed to give me a trial of labor. I didn't...

    I have a pain

Don't be embarrassed. If you have any concerns, I would go ahead and visit the doctor. Waiting 11 weeks and worrying about it is just going to be stressful for you. I think the peace of mind would be worth a visit :)

fun things to do on bed rest?

What about sewing/knitting/crocheting/embroidering? Even if you don't know how, it might be a good time to learn. I'd check out craftster.org and maybe try to come up with some other crafts you don't have to get out of bed to do. Maybe bring your TV into your room so you can play video games...

    Naming the second child

This happened to my Grandma, too, with her first son (baby #5). She took FOUR days to name him and finally they told her she had to hurry up and name him so she could leave the hospital.

    Naming the second child

We actually had a pretty difficult time naming baby #2 since we are having another boy and we LOVE our first son's name SO much! It seemed almost impossible and it took us until I was 27 weeks pregnant to finally decide on one we both loved. I don't really have any suggestions, but know that I...
