CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I really like forums because they let me express myself better with words than in real life. I can be very serious, and I am a conserved person who loves to read, write (poetry, short stories, I'm begining a novel).I enjoy music (Enya, Natalie Merchant, and some rock/punk), video games (mostly military historical games and Roller Coaster Tycoon!) I also really like Lord of the rings. I've read the books twice each, and seen the 1st movie 14 times, TTT 6 times, and ROTK 8 times (yes, I keep count). My best friends are Adam A., Andonis, Adam F., Brandon, Kirsty, Erika, and another Erica met on CF. I really enjoy walking in woods, and enjoying nature. I enjoy learning about ancient and medieval history, especially Byzantine and French history. I hate math, science, and healthclasses!!
