CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Im 17 years old, i have a great family who loved me even when i spat in their faces they always cared! I currently go to school in 6th form. Despite me having faith in god and my life changing, i am still lazy but have obviously been improving. I like PC games, seeing friends. But ofcourse the best time in the day isa worshipping, i love worshipping god. I love praying and reading rthe bible is about the only book i read at the mo.
I dont want my life to become boring, or "religious" or people view me as a freak because of my faith. I always plan to spend alot of time in prayer, the word and worship, however this doesnt always go as planned as i want to spend more time. To those people who feel they spend to much time in prayer or worship or whatever, as long as your doing gods will you can never go wrong. There might be times when peoepl say "what about friends" but i knwo what god wants and i have faith that one day he will use me amazingly!
