  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Which Day of the Week is the Sabbath? (2)

Eh, splitting hairs a bit, semantics maybe. If something has been "set apart" for a sacred purpose, it is "qodesh". "I. That the first day of each of the three feasts. Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles, was " a holy convocation", a "sabbath" on which no servile work was to be done. See...

    Big bully?

He doesn't like it. Eze 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

If a large natural disaster occurs this week...

My Pastor's opinon is, "If God didn't get your attention in 2005, He probably never will". But he was speaking of all the events, not simply disasters.

Which Day of the Week is the Sabbath? (2)

"The first day of each of the three feasts. Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles, was " a holy convocation", a "sabbath" on which no servile work was to be done. See Leviticus 23:7, 24, 35. Compare Exodus 12:16." When Christ was crucified the day before the Passover, it was the 14th day of...

Why don't we make it a habit to tell others what we enjoy about their posts, as well as what we don't. I enjoy seeing somebody step up to the plate and ask that we conduct ourselves in a Christ-like manner. Too often people, including myself, will allow themselves to come close to an all out...

Why John 8:1-11 must be defended!

Here I go, getting myself into trouble again. Joh 8:5 And in the Law, Moses commanded that such should be stoned. You, then, what do You say? in the Law, Moses commanded: oh, is that right? Let's check it out... Deu 22:23 If there is a girl that is a virgin, betrothed to a man, and a...

    Psalm 104

May I ask which translation you are using? Here are two: KJVA Psa 104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. LITV Psa 104:5 He founded the earth on its foundations; it shall not be shaken forever and ever. The verbs here are "removed" and...

    Masturbation

Read Leviticus chapter 15. In summary, "Wash up when you're done, will ya?" But anything in excess can be destructive. Men who can get themselves to climax in a very short time, i.e. through masturbation, can have trouble [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] when engaging in actual sexual intercourse. This can...

Question: Is this a Straw Man Fallacy? Poisoning the Well? I know it's something...It could be an inductive fallacy. first poster: second poster: But the first poster said nothing about Jesus, he was clearly referrencing early "Church Fathers". However, by suggesting that the first...

    Authourship: Exodus, For Example

Please articulate. Inasmuch as my second post was not intended to be logical, necessarily, your observation is moot. God has emotion, but He too is logical. So logical that the record He kept of His book throughout the OT is perfect. 1. Exodus 17:14. Written by Jehovah's command...

The lie that Moses did not write the Pentateuch is uundocumented supposition which the numbered items above from the WORD of GOD should be sufficent to prove. "Making the word of God of none effect through" supposition is naughty! Do you believe God, or human reasoning, "deep...
