CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm 26, and live with my mum. I'm a freelance Artist, part time youth support worker, and temp as a nursery assistant. I strive to get a full time job within the media and creative industry as a concept artist, storyboard artist, or scriptwriter. I novels and scripts, and write poems and short stories that have come runner up in competitions.
I have a boyfriend who I see as my future husband. I strive to find new friends as I barely have any, ever since I became a Christian. I guess it's hard to keep the old friends once you change your life completely to becoming a Christian.
I am eclectic in my fashion sense, the music and films that I like, and in the way I view life. I love anime and manga, and love dancing to J-pop and anime dance routines. I love a lot of things about Japan and plan to travel there. I love the modern and traditional Japanese culture, and am learning to speak and write the language.
