  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Linux roll call

I've been playing around with Linux for years and have finally made the switch thanks to Ubuntu after trying all the other distros. While gaming was a big reason why I was still on Windows, its the general interface and the availability of software (and better support) that made Windows my...

    Internet filter -- your thoughts.

I think the idea is great, as long as they have the right people to manage such a hefty project (usually they don't). Looking back at their track record with Telstra, DET, Optus and web/mobile services in general corporate Australia will yet again try to validate the ridiculous costs with very...

What's your opinion of a good blog software?

LOL why are you running so many different distros? I really like Linux now, much better than what it was 10 years back when we had redhat ;-) Making great progress with my blog, the problem is I keep modifying it which means that I will probably need to start creating version numbers.

Open Office vs Word-which is better?

Yes there is the manual crop function which you need to enter the exact locations of the part you want cropped out. That's the old way. The current way is dragging the borders which is far easier, and already a standard feature on the internet. OO will support this kind of cropping if you...

Open Office vs Word-which is better?

Choose Word/MS Office. The best thing about Open Office is that its free, and that is also its biggest problem. There are a number of crucial features I needed that was not available in OO, such as cropping images. MS Office is simply leaps and bounds for people who just wants to get things...

    Free Web Hosting?

LeightonH, There are a lot of options to choose from in deciding free web space because it is so competitive (good for us). But because of the competition some businesses go down (bad for existing customers). They do this to encourage more people to try their services and upgrade if you...

    Job Hunting

Don't underestimate the power of networking, understand it and you can increase your productivity in life. Find out what kind of opportunities these "crummy" jobs can lead to, who manages these positions and who they are connected to. No one is going to hand to you a good opportunity on a...

why I beleive there will be sexaulity in heaven

Exactly, but read this, That happens only if you take it out of context without understanding the language, style and form behind those words. But read what I wrote again, sex is part of a process, it just happens to be very enjoyable as it should be.

why I beleive there will be sexaulity in heaven

If sex is not lust then in a single word what is it? I can only think of "indulgence". Sex is just part of procreation, we just made it to be recreational since we can control it better to enjoy the process without dealing with the creation.

    God bless Corey Haim

Its always sad to be watching someone kill themselves slowly where we could've done something about it. This guy was probably given ultimatums after ultimatums but it wasn't enough. His last moments was asking his mother (who herself was suffering from cancer) to lay beside him because he...

Where do you draw the line?

Do you really? I'm not targeting you but everyone here does it, people like to talk about social issues because its all about what you think and what you think people think of you. All this tells me that people are still not quite convinced that they can be committed to Christianity...

why I beleive there will be sexaulity in heaven

I apologise to the people for this kind of thread, but it is very amusing. I understand procreation, I don't understand sex. Sex as we know it is a lust! evident by the various forms of sexual orientation and ideals. I cannot believe that heaven is a world full of that kind of lust, can...
