  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Adventist had closer "roots" to Methodists, but people were coming out of the all the denominations, at that time. Due to the revelations of prophetic truths that were being realized. Yesh ! We refer to the" fiascos" as the "The Great Disappointment" . They we're off from the Aug 22nd 1844 by...

That's interesting, "Bapticostal is a combination of Baptist and Pentecostal." from wikipedia. Never seen that word before, nor the concept...my beliefs are nowhere near, what wiki describes. I'm more aliened with the Advent Church Movement, being true protestants of the Roman Church system...

ALSO ; obedience to God is not a means of earning righteousness, but it is the fruit and evidence of receiving Christ's Righteousness, to ALL who "believe" unto sanctification and salvation. John 3:16 Gal 2:20

Great !! It's a simple, choice ... To follow Christ, by obedience, as Christ kept the Commandments , the Will of the Father, OR loving the world, and disobedience, as Satan would have us. By FAITH, I believe in "bunnies", cuz Jesus said so... :-)

BUT ! Jesus calls us to be a "New creation, IN HIM", and NOT a "creation of the world", to come OUT of the world, (sin), to be OF the world, and not IN it. 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 , James 4:4, Romans 12:2 , 1 John 2:15-16 If you are in the "first stage of maturity", and the "light & darkness"...

one last comment; people who believe the Son and obey the Father, are His children, ... people who don't engage in this "conflict between good and evil" are Satan's by default.

Humm ! ... how very , "evasive & noncommittal" of you ... "vague" as to which side you are on.. ... and I disagree, with with your last sentence.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your position. There are only two sides in this battle, for the souls of men, since the "The Fall". The spirit of Able (obedience), or spirit of Cain (disobedience), Spirit of Christ and His Righteousness, or that of Antichrist (unrighteousness, sin). Surely, your...

Oh for sure, tis Truth. Except :-) Don't we need to give Satan credit for being the cause for God's initiation of this whole "plan of salvation" ? It's kinda like, "what came first, the chicken or the egg" ... From God's perspective, the chicken came first, ie Satan. It seem to me, this...

Humm ! My KJV in Gen 2&3, says that sin was introduced by Satan ... and NOW, we are dealing with having given Satan, authority here in the world. Which is the whole purpose of Jesus. To get us to be theologically prone to Truthfulness, rather than evil / sin / giving Satan authority.

Gen 2:19 And out of the ground Jehovah God formed every beast of the field, and every bird of the heavens; and brought them unto the man to see what he would call them: and whatsoever the man called every living creature, that was the name thereof. = Bunny !

Don't ya think? ... If we believe in a creator God, and He being omniscient and omnipresent, then it's like the "5 blind men and the elephant" story, or Plato's Cave, ... "theology" would be my understanding of my reality experience.. Derived from a propensity to study and come to grips, with...

Sure you can prove the existence of bunnies ... It's in the same "ball park" as .. "I think, therefore I AM", = I exist. Isn't that what God said, " I AM, That I AM " = God. I can walk off my front porch in the mornings and often, bunnies will scamper away .. Since God created all these...
