I am a retired research chemist and process engineer. I also have several years teaching experience in middle school, high school, and college levels. Because most of my forum posts are in the science forums I think it is important to mention that I possess a m\Master of Science degree in Earth Science (Univ. Memphis, 1977), with concentration in Paleoclimatology. My graduate research project was on the causes and occurrences of continental glaciation. Though retired now, I am presently doing research pertaining to Wisconsin Stage Glaciation termination, and outbreak events associated with abrupt sea level rise.

I had previously listed my academic and professional backgrounds here, under interests. However, because under this category hobbies are also listed, some science forum posters have mistaken that is just hobbies, I have moved them to the Biography category.
