CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've lived in Queens my whole life. I've worked at an IT Consulting firm here in NYC since 1999. I'm the youngest of three children with two older sisters. I am very family oriented and my entire extended family is very close. It's not uncommon to have 15-20 family members together for Christmas dinner.
I'm a devout Catholic. I go to church every Sunday and try my best to follow ALL the teachings of the Church. I'm very active in my parish; I'm an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, a member of the Outreach Ministry, member of the Knights of Columbus, I run our Apologetics/Evangelization ministry, I'm webmaster for my Parish website, and I'm considering becoming a leader in our Youth Ministry.
I also enjoy snowboarding (one of my few obsessions), video games, home theater, camping, bowling, volleyball, pool, working on my car and spending time just hanging out with my friends.
