  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Challenge 3: One Judgment event for Everyone?

My understanding is that the nation of Israel is never called a nation. Only the Gentile nations are called nations. Therefore the "sheep and Goat" judgement is only for the gentile nations and is based solely on how the nations (gentiles) treated the Jews who were Jesus' brother at the time...

    Who did Jesus come to?

It can also be linked to blaspheming the Holy Spirit because that is just what they did.

    A Common Error

You are correct. The twelve did no know of the death, burial and the resurrection even though Jesus told them. Luke 18:31-34 31 Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will...

    Who did Jesus come to?

IMHO! Jesus came to the Jews only. To fulfill all the promises God made to Isreal. God had not made any promises to the Gentiles. He did not come preaching salvation for all men (see OP). If this is not understood then all you have is a mixed, blended gospel that will not save anyone. No...

    Who did Jesus come to?

You are correct, His shed blood was for everyone. But that was not revealed until Paul was given the gospel of grace by Jesus.

    Who did Jesus come to?

    D. THE ARRIVAL OF THE MESSIAH: * Let me make it clear that Jesus Christ, by His own words, did not come to minister to the Gentiles, nor was His message "the kingdom gospel" sent to the Gentiles. He did not offer the "kingdom of heaven" TO the Gentiles. The following scriptures support my view...

    True Repentance

True Repentance: * I believe that repentance is necessary for the child of God. But that repentance is not a ritual that is done when they think they have sinned. I believe in a repentant attitude, an attitude of continually acknowledging, to God, that the sins of the flesh are always present in...

    A Common Error

A Common Error: * It is a common error to assume that the Pauline Gospel of Grace was always in effect from the beginning of the world. * Grace = unmerited (unearned) favor = you do not have to work for it. It is free. * If we assume, as some say, that grace was always the gospel in effect then...

The Great -You have to take it- debate

The Great -You have to take it- debate: It is said that faith is not faith unless it has works as a result. Many use the statement “you have to reach out and take it” as an example of having to do the work of taking the free gift of salvation. --- That is the way a man might see it. However...

    Two futures

This study is set up in three sections; * 1. GOD'S PLAN ON THE EARTH, 2. GOD'S PLAN IN THE HEAVENS, 3. THE FULFILMENT OF GOD'S PLAN. * Written by Tracy Plessinger: * In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 * God presents his creative act as an act that produced a...

    The Sin of Unbelief

You have it right. I enjoy study of the scriptures and have no use for man's interpretations of them. I believe they say exactly what they means in context

    The Sin of Unbelief

The Sin of Unbelief. * From my study of the Bible scriptures I believe the only sin that condemns in this age of the gospel of grace as taught by Paul in his writing is the sin of unbelief: that is not taking God at His word. * Ex 23:27-33 27 "I will send My fear before you, I will cause...

    An Overview Of The Bible

    F. THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD AS GIVEN TO PAUL: * As said above, God had a hidden secondary purpose for the death of Jesus on the cross. From Jesus, and the preaching of the "Kingdom of Heaven," to this time in which we now live is a new dispensation and it was not mentioned in the O.T. it...
