  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Just on guard

I read Matthew 24 where our Lord spoke to His Disciples regarding His Coming and the End of the World. I suppose we expect all the things written to happen in the future. I was surprised when I read what our Lord told His Disciples in: Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall...

    Perfect Christianity

Perfect Christianity can only be attained by following the sequence expounded by our Lord when a humble Scribe asked Him regarding the "first of all the commandments." John the Baptist

When John the Baptist baptized our Lord Jesus, He received the Holy Spirit in the form of dove, and the compliment of the Father, saying, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am pleased." I thought before that when I left the Roman Catholic Church and joined an Evangelical Church and baptized by...

    Perfect Christianity

May COLORADO SEMINARY, through its professors, please point out the Chrisitan denomination or sect today that follows the perfect or pure Christianity in the first century? Aside from the contradictions of doctrines I have listed in my posting, I found many more.

    Perfect Christianity

What I mean by perfect Christianity are the DOCTRINES preached by Jesus Christ and followed by His Apostles/Disciples. After all, are not the doctrines the "road map" of our trek to eternal life?

    Perfect Christianity

One basis of my observation is the comparison of the Apostles/Disciples of Christ with the Scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees, Priests, and Teachers of the Law during the time of our Lord. Example: I cannot find a verse where the Apostles were “addresses” as Pastor that means...

    Perfect Christianity

I joined several Christian sects and one way or another I found some flaw or contradiction of their doctrine with what "is written." Can we still find perfect Christianity of the first century?
