In mid 2009 during a Men's Ministry meeting at my Church, our Pastor challenged us to form a Chistian business that could be both successful and serve God's kingdom. Over the next few months, after bouncing around several ideas I came up with PraiseBook.com.
The idea for this project was born out of the social networking craze and all of the bad press and problems surrounding these sites. Bullying, suicides, divorces, scams, assaults and more! Pastors urging their congregations to stay away from social network sites, Pastors and Churches being persecuted and harassed.
As a Police Officer in my full time job for 15 years and a former Detective I have seen numerous examples of how social networking has been used for everything from luring young people into dangerous situations to scamming people out of their life savings.
As a Christian Father and Husband, I thought, what better way to bring Christians together, serve God and provide a safe social networking
