Hi! Well I'm Laura, 40, married over 15 years and visually impaired. I'm a hard working New Yorker and a bit of a geek, er.. well maybe a little part dork too. 
I love music, almost all kinds, and can't do housework without it. I love to read and to write. I enjoy photography and poetry, hiking, nature, science fiction, anime, origami and paper craft, and swimming or being anywhere near or on the water.
Faith wise I was raised Catholic but loosely. Maybe we'd show up at church on Easter. Got to college and got involved with my husband in Protestant Campus ministries and became Episcopal. However recently I have felt called to take my connection with God to a higher level and have started studying, praying, and trying to learn all I can about Him which so far has been quite an interesting journey. Hope to get to know you all!
