  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Make a joyful noise!

I do appreciate that you awknowledge us as Christians. There are a huge number of non-Catholics that say we're not Christians, but a Pagan Cult--or even worse Occultists, placing us on the same level as Satanists! We've become everyone's favorite target, and it get's old, so much so that being...

    Make a joyful noise!

I went to Saturday Vigil Mass, and there was no choir this week! We had a lady playing piano, but none to lead in song. I am a parrot, and I can sing OK as long as my ears have a guide. I was ALL OVER THE PLACE last night, especially during the opening hymn! Funny! We didn't sing the Gloria...

Here is my Beloved whom my heart loves

We had Benediction this morning. While adoring Our Lord, I found it SO remarkable, both at my present church and in the Adoration Chapel of our previous church, how our Tabernacle resembles the description of the Old Testament's Ark of the Covenant. Our Tabernacle, and Adoration chapel of my...

Here is my Beloved whom my heart loves

WOW! What a GREAT find! See, I've looked up some of the prices of monstrances, and a little one with a mixture of silver and gold costs at least $1500 dollars. That one in your chapel, if made of the same materials would cost---gosh---at least $5000 dollars. We had a BIG parish in my old...

Here is my Beloved whom my heart loves

In the case of Perpetual (24/7) Eucharistic Adoration, the Host and Monstrance are set up in a separate room from the main chapel, usually called the Adoration Chapel. (For terms: The Host or the Eucharist is the former bread, now consecrated into the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ...
