CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Pilgrim Making Progress
I was saved at a Fundamental Baptist church school on Feb 2, 1977 so I listed that as my spiritual birthday. (I am in fact older than that date) I enjoy hiking the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Kenosha Pass, Mountainbiking Mt. Falcon park near Denver, live in the very rural midwest approx 700 miles E. of Denver for prophetic reasons of confirming visions that many others will be seeking alternative refuge outside of "Babylon" and that system at some point in the future. We are already seeing many Californians coming as God leads and awakens folks and guides them even as Christ the gentle shepherd. Plenty of deer, wild turkey, fishing, farms and conservative families... perhaps a refuge as so many visions and prophecies have confirmed but if you are in God's will then you can also be protected wherever you are.... we have elderly and young in our extended church family. I am independent politically and outside of the dialectic and duality of Republican vs. Democrat. I watch very little TV except classic videos a few times a year. My time is precious so I don't have time for fake news and propaganda or the media agenda to destroy the family and culture. I cherish the old paths and God's natural order of kind after kind (Genesis) and see the blessings that follow that design and plan as compared to the confusion of "Babylon" (modern society) of today.
