Do you believe in universal common descent?

Unfortunately out understanding of genetics is nowhere near advanced enough to determine how similar they really are or what it would take for one species to become another at the genetic and molecular level (i.e. protein machines and DNA regulation and information processing).

    Evolution

What has been proven are minor micro-evolutionary changes. We don't as yet understand the relationship between genetics and phenotype. It may be that the idea of the DNA as a "master plan" is incorrect or at least over simplified. The 98% commonality with chimps is inaccurate and misleading...

    Peter Singer supports infanticide.

Actually there have been doctors that performed abortions that have witnessed babies trying to fight back during an abortion and this caused them to become pro-life.

Where Can We Come To Agreement?

Thou shalt not kill is absolute, but sometimes there are difficult choices to make. War is a difficult one, and to me, it is extremely difficult to justify. Self-defense is an exception for many reasons, but how many people would kill the person they are defending themselves against rather that...

Where Can We Come To Agreement?

Exactly. However, when a concession is proposed, the side that the concession is being asked of has the right to say no and explain why they are not willing to make that particular concession. If the side proposing a concession of the other side cannot come up with a substantive counter argument...
