  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Spirit-Filled Believers

No, and no. More subtlely: the Holy Ghost is in the Trinity; our hope of heaven is Christ in us, that hope of glory. Working

It doesn't bother me to know that sinners sin. Arguably believers sin just as much. I look to follow the Lord myself, as most of us do, yet I err as much as a typical person. As we're all in this world, we don't get to live among the perfected. It's written that the just shall live by faith...

Hi, Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself - I gather that's a thing here. I live and work in the Puget Sound region of the US. Walked with Jesus for some 20 years now. First 10 years I operated in a house church mode, then I've been knocking about the Charismatic world in one (non-)denom...
