    why... yes. if "spritual death" was written, taken literally it would mean "spiritual death". and when death is written it means death. that's what's written in the bible. it just mentioned death, not spiritual death.

    to my understanding, you can't believe the literal interpretation of the bible without believing that god created everything (therefore, a creationist). not sure about the "young earth" part of YEC, but that probably stems from adding up all the dates in the bible being less than 3 billion...

    i'd also have to recommend some textbook that covers the basics of biochemistry. understanding basic cell function, how DNA molecules are pieced together, how the protiens work and such is a very important base on which to build up the other principles of evolution.
