I was born and raised a Catholic. My Mother had a strong belief in God, partly because she had to live with the Nuns in Italy while waiting for the USA to let her and her 2 sisters into America. It was hard t get into the America in the 1930's. For this reason my mother and her sisters had to live in a Catholic boarding school all year long for 3 long years. My mother was only 4 when they entered. The nuns were strict, but they taught my mother Latin and gave her undying faith in God. But, oddly my father thought God was just for women. So I had a strange upbringing. At 18 I stopped believing God was real. But at 27 or so I started reading the Bible. I officially became a Christian at 30, and for the last 32 years I've watched America become less and less of a Godly nation. I long for the old days when stores stayed closed on Sunday, and families went to church together. I never could find a decent church in my area, so I'm non denominational, and half Catholic. I have no family. All
Psychology, Philosophy, Theology, Astrophysics, Neuroscience, Medical science, Anthropology, Ancient History, and whatever else grabs my attention. I love using a PC, but I'm not too concerned with how they work nor fixing them.
