CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A little about me...
I was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts. I am Canadian, American with a little Scottish and Irish. We moved to Quincy when I was 16. I got picked on a lot elementry and middle school but, in my high school years that tapered off by about ninth grade. I was 17 before I met my first boyfriend. Seven and a half years later, it wasn't meant to be. A year or so later I was hooked up to a fruitcake... ya with nuts. Then after that, a real trip. Thankfully that only lasted a couple months and finally after that I really kind of found God. I was always Catholic but, seldom went to church. It started with me going to church to pray for number trip 3. That he would find what he was looking for. Soon I found myself basking in the light of the Lord and attending mass. I was working with the elderly in a nursing home. That is were I found... Him. I got laid off and now I'm working at a grocery store and living in a nice house, in a quiet nieghborhood with Mr. Right. I s
