Happily married to a wonderful believing man, two adult sons.
My husband and I withdrew ourselves from the institutional church for many reasons, only one of which is the pervasive ecumenism in evangelicalism. We have never attended any "fundamentalist" church because of the spirit-crushing legalism. We are blood-bought, non-charismatic, A2 Pauline dispensational believers in Jesus Christ. Our closest "church" affiliation is "Plymouth Brethren" (although they do not consider themselves a denomination, per se.) There are no like-minded groups of believers in our area that we would, in good conscience, align ourselves with, so we do the best we can to edify each other in the Word of God. God gives grace and supplies the need for fellowship with e-mails and phone calls with like-minded believing friends. If there were doctrinally sound believers interested in following the pure, unadulterated Word, we'd be right there with them in a heartbeat!
Animal lover-have five cats, all rescues. Many interests and hobbies: reading, Bible study, travel, music (both listening and playing), knitting/crocheting, web surfing, exploring alternative healing methods, nutrition, architecture, home decor.
