  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Money Strategy

I know I'm a few months late to this thread, but it's important enough for me to bump it. The best advice that I can give is to diversify your income. What types of streams of income you have is up to you, but have multiple streams. Here's an blog post about that.

No Charges Against Shooter of Burglar

Last Wednesday, somebody broke into my mother's house while I was there. They shattered her glass door with a brick and walked right in. I was unarmed (since I wasn't home), so I grabbed an aluminum softball bat and went that direction while my mother called the police. When I got to the...

Where should I go to talk to girls?

Talking to girls isn't easy. Nothing that is fun is easy. How do you learn to shoot 3-point shots? How do you learn to drive? How do you learn to throw a football in a spiral? You practice! Talking to girls is no different. You try and fail miserably. Then you fix what you did...

Letting go and giving it all to God

A lot of people here have given good advice. I would recommend reading Boundaries. If you can't afford it, it's available in most public libraries. Amazon.com: Boundaries: When to Say YES, When to Say NO, To Take Control of Your Life (9780310585909): Henry Cloud, John Townsend: Books

Having a difficult time finding a real job

It's not a problem. You'll need to look for an entry-level job. The good news is that minimum wage is enough to hit your target. :)

Cashier experience is very handy. How much do you have?? Did you know that banks look for tellers with cashier experience? Also, retail stores and/or fast food restaurants look for the same experience. For cashiers. ;)

Having a difficult time finding a real job

That's great news, because if you can find a full-time job (40 hours per week), or two part-time jobs, that pays the federal minimum wage ($7.25 per hour), you would be making over $1100 per month. Taking away taxes, it's closer to $900, depending upon your situation. Heck, you can even work...

Having a difficult time finding a real job

First 2 posts are about online marketing? Yup, nothing but pure motives there. It's hard to find an "off-the-books" job these days. It's so easy to get in legal trouble. How much would an on-the-books job have to pay you for it to be worth giving up SSI?

    It is a red flag. But it's just that - a red flag. It's not a deal-breaker.
