    How do you British folks view the American Revolution?

    There is no Northern Ireland flag unfortunately so I'm stuck using the Union flag, there are however Scottish, English, Welsh, Isle of Man and even a Shetland Islands flag, it just ain't fair :(

    Are you kidding? The USA annexed almost an entire continent. Beyond that the USA is basically exercising a modern version of imperialism, they get into a country, remake it in their own image and pull out again. This has its good points and its bad points...

    UK's "A Level" Review Proposals grab you??

    I got AAB when I sat them 4 years ago, as they get dumbed down I'm starting to worry that AAB is gona start looking less and less impressive :) In Northern Ireland there was a 30% rate of A achievement, highest in the UK, woohoo!

    I view it as a rather sad and unfortunate civil war. The whole mess could have been avoided had Britain given the colonies more control over their own affairs, a mistake they would not make with Canada, Australia and New Zealand, but would repeat with Ireland, thereby losing it as well. Still...
