  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, we never go for doctrinal discussion or any matter that lead into arguments. Once we do, we will lose our fellowship.

Thank you for sharing it. I was in a Muslim country where I am in India for 3 years, while I do my theological studies. They are good to discuss the matter of this. I had preached with my friends. Some are really humble. Now, my people seem arrogant. Trusing only God's intervention.

How to evangelize who resist the gospel

I felt sometimes that community outreach would do better. Suppose, if I have the funds, I can engage with some kinds of work or help the community like we are poor village. Our road is not good, our school needs some chair, some lacking family. In a way of giving, I don't feel much to help...

How to evangelize who resist the gospel

If I encounter someone on a journey like you in a taxi or a bus, I certainly discuss the matter of life difficulties first and slowly how life would end after this. Then enter the topic. The topic discussion here is different; I am situated now at the village, not just a random meeting. I have...

How to evangelize who resist the gospel

No, this is not applicable to this context. You were on a situation where direct evangelism is not applicable. Once you do directly, the day you leave the village.

How to evangelize who resist the gospel

Thank you for this point. A good point. Share me if you have any point more. Yes, I make fellowship and something to get close with them. The road is not good to us, so when I repaired it they knew me very well.

How to evangelize who resist the gospel

If you were in a village where they don't like Christians, what would be the best methods to engage with them or slowly tell the gospel? Some missionaries had entered the past, but not successful. Kindly share your ideas or experiences.
