The Old Covenant with all it's laws and works has not literally disappeared so maybe this is referring to the New Covenant giving us a "better" Spiritual understanding of God and salvation. What thinkest thou? : )

How we dress is part of our behavior and of course God is concerned about how we behave. If scripture does not directly address this fact, maybe God thinks it to obvious to address. I think how some of the Jews act and dress is part of why they are held in such contempt by some.

Christ. and the Law are one. He came to fulfill the Law for everyone who will receive Him. The part that got dumped was the flesh of Christ, it died.

The rich man and Lazarus are certainly depicted in physical terms so there is that to deal with. I do believe the body ceases to exist at death but I am not sure time or physicality has any meaning after that. I am not sure eternal torment would serve any purpose where time is meaningless. Like...
