CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I never know what to say (cue paragraphs of rambling nonsense and gibberish).
I live at home with my parents and a 24 year old friend (Sissy) who has been 'un-offically' adopted into the family (we already argued like sisters anyway, hehe) and her 30 year old boyfriend, too. I have two mad cats, a girl called Missy-Moo and a boy called Angel-boy (he is the funniest cat...ever!!).
I wear glasses, have big feet and like to spend way to much time online and reading (when not doing one I will be doing the other!! hehe). I love learning new things, and I respect all differing faiths and belief systems (I am fascinated by the things that people believe in).
I have a tendency to make people laugh and I hate conflict. I will always try and talk my way out of potentially hostile situations as I really hate violence.
I'm a heteroromantic asexual, and proud of it (Google is your friend to find the meaning of that).
Reading (especially murder mysteries, ghost stories and the Classics), writing, chatting online, photography, learning about the Goth sub-culture, gardening, mythology, learning about the world's religions, laughing, cookery, watching tv, reading and learning about World War II - especially what life was like on the Home Front, world and English history and being a general nuisance!
