CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello all. My name is Michael Chambers, and I am apart of ASCEND Network. God placed me in the midst of this ministry back in 2003, and I haven't been the same since. The director and I are good friends, and have been for longer than when God brought me to this ministry. Currently, I reside in Tampa, and am moving to Denver, CO to help with the growth of the ASCEND Youth Center there.
In the past, I have worked in various different ministries. At the age of 5, I enrolled with my church's children's choir. When I was 12, I taught my first Vacation Bible School class, when I was 16, I started into music and instruments for church...at 17, I worked my own bus route as well as evangelized to the community. At the age of 19, I worked with a friend of mine while I was in the NAVY, and we found a home church at the First Baptist Church of Flour Bluff in Corpus Christi, TX. Where God blessed us tremendously, was one day, he and I walked around the entire area, and spoke to kids about Christ.
