    Law and Prophets until John

Now we know what the preceding verse says (Matthew 11:12); From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it. From the "days of John" until John ended his ministry; John was beheaded; Yeshua was crucified...

    Law and Prophets until John

John the priest was like Samuel the priest. Samuel anointed Saul and David as king over Israel. John the priest was like Elijah the prophet; Matthew 11:14 And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. Elijah anointed a king over Syria and a king over Aram; anointed...

    Law and Prophets until John

John the Baptist, was a priest; the son of a priest. Luke 1 5 In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. 6 Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing...

Where is it written that YHWH commanded one female to circumcise? Did YHWH command Sarah or Zipporah to perform circumcision? You have failed to provide scriptural support for your opinion. Zipporah performed circumcision, so you say "it doesn't matter who performs the circumcision"; yet you...

Only the male descendants participated in circumcision. G-d explicitly says "every male among you" not just Abraham's descendants. Abraham circumcised his male servants as well.

Let us be clear, G-d commanded Abraham to circumcise every male (not just his descendants); Abraham is a male. Genesis 17:10-11 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You are to undergo...

G-d commanded Abraham (the father of Isaac) to circumcise his son on the 8th day. When did G-d command a woman to perform the circumcision? So I think it does matter who G-d commanded to perform the circumcision so that we keep the whole law.

When did G-d command Zipporah to perform the circumcision? Did Zipporah circumcise Moses son on the 8th day? Now what she did made a "concession" or "peace" between YHWH and Moses; but it is obvious that "fleshy" circumcision was Moses responsibility. YHWH was angry with Moses not Zipporah.

No contradiction: Genesis 21:4 Eight days after Isaac was born, Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded. Abraham did not circumcise every male living in his house on the 8th day. Romans 9:7 Being descendants of Abraham doesn’t make them truly Abraham’s children. For the Scriptures say...

Please read my post #101: "Moses was circumcised by his mother! So women or mothers played a vital role in keeping the law of circumcision." Did Joshua circumcise the Israelites the "second time" with flint knives? Joshua 5:2 At that time the LORD said to Joshua, "Make for yourself flint...

Joshua 5:2 At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelites again.” Only the younger generation were not circumcised, so circumcision had to be performed again. The second circumcision (the word "again" is used by YHWH) was to be performed by flint knives...

G-d told Abraham to circumcise his son on the 8th day. Abraham is Isaac's father.

The generation of Joshua did not trust in ceremonial laws because the younger generation had never been circumcised. Joshua had to circumcise the entire congregation. Did Moses circumcise his sons? Circumcision on the 8th day is supposed to be performed by the father!

So you have to quote what God said to Joshua to somehow prove your point. The holy commandment was made to Abraham, many years prior. Let us carefully look at Joshua 5:2; At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelites again.” Of course the younger...

"Circumcision on the 8th day" is a holy commandment from G-d. Leviticus 12 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for...
