  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

"The Rich Christian" what do you think?

This crazy prosperity folk leaves the reading of my accomplishments to others! :)

    Dad Hagin's position on OSAS

That's good to know. In North America I believe the rule is "insignificant portions" which probably doesn't mean anything unless money is involved. The Rhema people love to see the gospel preached and as long as the authors are credited it would seem to accomplish that along with word-of-mouth...

What's the purpose of a church board?

That is exactly my point. The lack of a board that can stand up to a charismatic leader who's fallen into sin can be a bigger problem than the fallen leader. Charismatic leadership has its dangers and tempatations. Because we need the power to accomplish the great commission we need the...

What's the purpose of a church board?

I think the church board serves a very important function, the least not being to keep the pastor in check from time to time. Pastors are human too and fall prey to temptation like anybody else. Had Jimmy Swaggert and Jim Bakker met with their church board their ministries might still be going...

What are you reading right now?

I'm reading the Bible these days too. I read a lot of stuff on the internet as well and tend to listen to the Rhema "Faith Seminar of the Air" very often. I've made some notes from that series that I'll share at some point. God bless you all!

Go for Revelation Knowledge by Kenneth Copeland

Excellent teaching! Kenneth E. Hagin's teaching on "The Name of Jesus" has given me revelation as to the authority we have in His name. If you're not already aware, KEH's "Faith Seminar of the Air" series is available on the Rhema website, which one can google to quite easily.

    Dad Hagin's position on OSAS

Jesus taught Brother Hagin about how what must occur for a Christian to lose their salvation. I read about it in his book "I Believe in Visions", still one of the best Christian books I've ever read. The teaching was very clear to me and I'd never even heard of OSAS up to that point. On...

    Most Important WoF Teaching

I chose positive confession because that's where it all takes place. Faith has two parts, believing and confessing. We all have faith: Paul never told anyone in his Epistles to have faith because they already had faith. He taught about faith and encourages believers to have faith but the...

I'd like to find a fellowship that believes like this...

I've often wondered about the role of Jewish law in the life of a Christian. My current outlook is that the law provided discipline to a people that has made them extremely prolific in so many areas. I believe that as Christians we are the children of God whereas the Jews are and were the...

Did a traumatic experience make you unchurched?

Hello, Interesting theme to this thread. For me it went both ways, first churched then unchurched. A deteriorated relationship with my father and his abuse culminated in being told to leave home and never come back again and propelled me to a spiritual quest that resulted in my salvation. The...

    Fasting Journal

eoe: That was a very good word: thank you! I noticed as much while fasting. This is quite a forum: I have only been in Catholic churches maybe two or three times in my life so my exposure to their teaching is quite limited. My own Christian experiences have been in pentecostal-type churches; I...

    Fasting Journal

I'll be starting another fast soon. I was going to visit a Christian family sometime and break it but I may just fast in the meantime. God bless you all!
