Don't hesitate to give these explanations. But keep in mind, an explanation is some sort of positive effort, something where you do some kind of work. It's not easy, usually.

I think that the existence of NDE makes any further discussion about whether there is an afterlife obsolete. We can see them either as a contradiction or as a confirmation of life after death, but we need not look any further.

It's not so much your personal delivery here in this thread that bothers me. It is rather the overall, poor performance of God as an explanation. I don't think you do. I don't think anybody does, for that matter. A theological explanation for ... Hmmmm ... the lowly caterpillar. How, when...

I tend to think that explaining things is a wee bit harder than that. It's actually really tough. You, on the other hand, appear to have a very sketchy understanding of the things that you seek to explain; but at least it is something. You have no understanding of the things that you purport...

Technically not true. God of the Gaps are called what they are: Gods of the Gaps. Being a Christian or not does not necessiate God of the Gaps thinking. That is not an explanation of any kind. It is an illusion of an explanation.

That's always been one of the things that bothered me about the FTA. Why carbon based lifeforms? And why universes? Why this gigantic Rube Goldberg machine?

I wouldn't worry too much about the premises. You hear so much unsubstantiated stuff about God, that it's only fair to return the favour. And as an aside, the premises sound good to me. I am almost sure I've heard all of them before (and their opposites) before.
