  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Couples events are for couples....bowling, movies, dinners, parties....he does have a girlfriend so I am not sure what your point is. He is also like "family" so if we have a birthday, baptism or holiday celebration and he also HAS kids...why would you not support your friend/brother of over 20...

    Best Friend vs. Wife

Who said I excepted anyone to decline all outside invites? The timing was bad and I felt that in that moment we needed to resolve an issue that was currently going on...not a pre existing situation. Especially when I did not agree with the venue. I really dont believe he would appreciate if I...

    Best Friend vs. Wife

The reason I made the statement " I don't know where she stays" is because I felt it was inappropriate that my husband was hanging out at a single ladies house from 5 pm- 1 am...that I did not know. I registered on this forum not to be judged but to see if I over react to situations to help me...

    Best Friend vs. Wife

You feel it is okay to not meet your husband's best friend girlfriend? This is not a new/transient girlfriend...this is someone who will be around your spouse a lot. This is like a family member...and I am a family oriented person.

    Am I being too sensitive?

I don't confuse love with control. When I took my vows " Will you love her, honor her, comfort her, and keep her in sickness and in health; forsaking all others" is when I felt that me and my husband are now one flesh and there is simply no competition! My husband's needs, emotions and my love...

    Am I being too sensitive?

I love and respect my husband...and every mortal that I know wants the same in return. God obviously comes first: Deuteronomy 6:5, “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” All of one’s heart, soul, and strength is to be committed to loving...

    Am I being too sensitive?

A wife and mother's love are totally different. I love my husband with all my heart. The last thing I would want is to divorce him. I cannot make someone believe that our marriage is priority when he does not make our marriage priority. My question was "Am I being too sensitive"? I would like to...

    Am I being too sensitive?

I would like to clear this up...I did not say it was the "crime of the century"...it just hurt me since he asked to celebrate with my family and then it felt like he did not want to be there with my family, me and our son. When I said cleave to his wife...I mean emotionally. We should be...

    Am I being too sensitive?

A wife and mothers love are different, so I am not sure how to answer this question. I know I was raised to believe that a mother should respect a wife's position and a man should put his wife first after God. It just really hurt me that the first person he thought to show any emotion for was...

Hi, I have been married about 3 years now. My marriage has been a total disappointment and I am at the point of deciding if I want to stay married or get a divorce. My husband is no longer the man I knew 5 years ago. My husband is a wanna be "mama's boy"...and his mom treats him like a baby. I...
