  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    What Saved You

To which phase of salvation are you referring? Paul said he was saved five different times: 1. Eternal? When he was saved before the world began (II Tim 1:9). 2. Legal? When Jesus came into the world (I Tim 1:15). 3. Vital? When the Spirit regenerated him (Titus 3:5). 4. Practical? When...

    A Dispensational Dilemma!

Dear Lamorak, A few points for your consideration: 1. God promised the land to Abraham personally (Genesis 13:15,17; 15:7; 17:8). 2. Yet Abraham never personally received enough land to put his foot on (Acts 7:5). 3. Abraham didn't want the physical land (Hebrews 11:10, 14-16). 4...

    A Dispensational Dilemma!

Terral, I'm sorry that your system will not let you answer this simple question: did God give the whole land to Israel, or not? Even the verses you quoted from Exekiel say that He already had. The words "have given" are in the past perfect tense: Ezek 28:25 Thus saith the Lord GOD...

    A Dispensational Dilemma!

Hi Terral, Please forgive me if you thought I was giving Scofield too much credit. He only deserves credit for spewing a Jewish fable Paul said to avoid (Titus 1:14). Scofield believed it was important to see that Israel never possessed the whole land. Yet God says they did possess the WHOLE...

Proverbs 3:5: "and lean not unto thine own understanding"?

This Proverb is the true basis of wisdom! Rejecting your ideas and trusting God's inspired revelation and sovereign providence will save you from the ignorance of the human race. If you cherish or protect your opinions against His, you will suffer! Beware, reader! James

    A Dispensational Dilemma!

Did God give Israel the land He promised them? Scofield didn't think so, and with his lack of faith the foundation of dispensationalism is built: Scofield: "It is important to see that the nation has never as yet taken the land under the unconditional Abrahamic covenant, nor has it ever...

    Worried about Heaven

Dear Beth, Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Do you know who said those words? The blaspheming apostle Paul; the Christian-murdering apostle Paul! The bible has very powerful answers to your doubts. They are NOT uncommon, and you CAN get over them...

    Does God Love Everybody?

Sola, What? I agree with everything else I have read from you, but God most certainly gets glory from the wicked! The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. (Proverbs 16:4) YES, EVEN THE WICKED! Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive GLORY...

    Does God Love Everybody?

Sola, Excellent point! I wonder if the smoke of their torment will eternally remind Him of those He loves but was not able to save? No way! He does not love those He sends to hell! I refuse to believe Jesus is a loser... And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of ALL...

Why don't you believe God's love is conditional?

Eternal life entirely by grace without human conditions gives God an infinite and undivided measure of glory. Any conditional system of salvation, even those requiring only faith, make man the determiner of his own destiny - and thus his own saviour. But there will be no sharing of glory in...
