CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like to think of myself as a kind, smart, thoughtful person. I enjoy arguing in class, or making movies with my friends. My faith (Methodist)is a huge part of my life and I hold it very dear. I fence, sail, and read in the meantime when I'm not doing shcool work which is about 90% of my life. I'm have a girlfriend and love her so much, i believe that she is the right person for me and love her dearly. I go to a Catholic school even though I'm a protestant and it's not all that bad. I have some disaggrements with other faiths but I respect them all completely. I live my life as a calm, serious individual and like to philosophize when I have nothing else to do. I know latin but can't speak it becuase it's a dead language. I also like to argue religon a lot as some of you may have noticed. That's the uninteresting part you probably would rather not here about.
