Reformed Baptist in a General Baptist Church,
For many reasons I reject holding to any form of Lapsarianism, the strongest being that I firmly believe that the parts of God's decree are too interdependent that to order them is to make one or another fail to meet it's dependencies.
I am a Reformed Baptist, this means;
I affirm the Five Solas of the Reformation; Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Solus Christus, Soli Deo Gloria
I hold a high view of God’s sovereignty, such that man’s will is ultimately subject to it.
I affirm the doctrines of Grace colloquially known by the TULIP acronym
I am creedal, holding to the Nicene Creed, Chalcedonian Definition among others of the historical orthodox Church
I am confessional, the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith is an accurate subordinate standard and I confess it
I am covenantal, God has communed and condescended to us in the form of covenants, his final covenant is with his Church whom I love and serve as they seek to
