  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

HI, I hope I can encourage you. I'll never forget the time in church someone close to me told me she felt I needed to get on medications. I did not want to do that. I don't like having to be on something, I think a lot of people feel that way. I took her advice and did start to feel more normal...

The thief on the cross died BEFORE Acts 2:38 salvation was preached

The thief on the cross died BEFORE Acts 2:38 salvation was preached

The flood was not the Savior, but the instrument or means of deliverance- this guy said it well. It also just occurred to me Noah believed and we know he believed because he built the ark. The Israelites believed God so they crossed the red sea, believing and action always seem to tie in. If...

The thief on the cross died BEFORE Acts 2:38 salvation was preached

I just searched another one, are you even reading these with an open mind or just arguing? The Waters of the Flood and Baptism: 1 Peter 3:20-21 “And corresponding to that, baptism now saves you”. The term corresponding means, “resembling another, its counter part&#8221...
