God's sovereignty is an implicit theme of any Christian trying to accurately interpret the Bible. Using science as a reference for interpreting Genesis is no different than people using the culture and customs of 1st century jews when interpreting the New Testament. The bible cant be interpreted correctly without context. There is no reason we can not use science as context for Geneisis. I am sorry if this bothers you. People always try to use history as context when describing events in the NT, and using science as a context for Genesis is similiar. -
