Church is ran by man though and man is sinful just look at the Church covering up molestation of young boys so saying you believe in it b/c the Church says so isn't really enough for me.

Aren't there alot of religions that predate Christianity that share alot of common themes? You could look at Ancient Greece with Zeus up in Heaven and Hades in Hell.

Its a combination of books written over the course of 1,000 years so how do we know if every book in the Bible is the word of God and not just someone saying it is? No this isn't a question seeking to prove God doesn't exist I believe he does but my question is about the authors of the books.

Alot longer then 6,000 years....the biggest change in that time is the average height of a person has gone up 2-3 inches.

Except doesn't the bible say that the Earth is about 6,000 years old.....so when exactly did white people evolve into black people.....thats hardly enough time.

They've even located the crater were the asteroid hit that was mainly responsible for killing off the dinosaurs, its called the Chicxulub Crater.

You realize that the scientific way to check the age of a fossil is evidence that the planet is way older then 6,000 years right? Dinosaurs weren't walking around 6,000 years ago.
