  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a sort of unusual question about touching yourself

Yes of course I do, I'm a normal, healthy man.

    Is touching yourself a sin?

Only alcohol occasionally, why do you ask?

    Is touching yourself a sin?

I do not have an "anything goes" attitude, thanks for the assumption though. Being disturbed and being offended are not the same thing. I was eating my breakfast at the same time as checking her post, not a nice combination I found. Unlike many, God has left my sense of humour intact, I'm...

    Is touching yourself a sin?

Way to show love to those who don't agree with you, after admitting that you have MB'd yourself. Although we disagree, and there is no biblical reason to agree, I still find the need to say that your attitude is unchristlike.

I have a sort of unusual question about touching yourself

By your own argument you would'nt have married consentual sex in church or in front of your gran either would you? Silly argument.

    Is touching yourself a sin?

The same thing could be said of "christian sins" such as overeating and watching TV but I have never heard a sermon on overeating lately. In reality you are hurting no-one by pleasuring yourself. YOu may be storing up temptation for real sexual sins though by not doing so.

    satan in my head?

Glad to see you saw how dangerous your advice potentially was, kudo's to you for that.

    Is touching yourself a sin?

I find your comparing MB with peda activity distasteful and further honours the guilt trip that many are on for no reason. MB is not biblically condemned, not once. Why a married woman like yourself is so hell-bent on condemning singles who do it is beyond me.

    Is touching yourself a sin?

Seriously, I don't want to be crude or obtuse, but even within the confines of marriage you are telling me that you have never, ever participated in this practise, not even for a second? The scriptures given have NOTHING to do with touching yourself, especially the one's about being unclean in...

If a man will not work, he shall not eat

You need to be in prayer about this, but I'd also suggest that you spend 8 hours a day actively looking for a job until you find one. Too tempting to slack off when unemployed.

    Is touching yourself a sin?

I'd like to hear about this evidence you speak of? I'm not bragging, just stating a fact. I spent enough time feeling guilty for things that are perfectly fine during my teenage years as the son of a roman catholic, guilt has no part of my life now, who the son has set free is free indeed...

    satan in my head?

Hi prophetess? I think you should not give this sort of "advice" to someone who is obviously struggling with a mental illness. I've studied psychology extensively and find that this sort of superstitious thinking can bring about a total psychotic episode. Convincing someone that they are in...

    "Legion" movie

I really don't see any proof of witchcraft being "real", sure there are people who practise it but I do not see the correlation between reality and harry potter.
