  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Better late than never. Congrats on the new Fender. I normally play a 5 string Fender Jazz myself. In my search for the perfect sound I have went through many stacks/ amps. I have found several keepers. I now use a Bergantino 212 with a genz benz streamliner 600 when I play out normally for...

They are leading. They have to be louder or they could not lead.

I can't believe you're giving up the jazz. I Like Mine and wouldn't part with it.

The singer's on the stage are supposed to be louder. That's why they are using mics. They are trying to lead the congregation. I think that holds true for most churches.

Our church is small so all we have is the small box hanging from the ceiling. So i normally supply all of the bass with my rig and they take me mostly out of the main so it doesn't make it muddy. I do use an Eden setup at church but use the Ampeg stuff when we play out unless it is a small...

Yea that is a Older Mesa Diesel rr 215. I traded it 2 weeks ago for the SVT-CL. That thing was a monster to move. To the other side is a fender bassman 50 with matching 215 cab.

Yea I ran across this B15N at Guitar center and decided I wanted it. I had to put a new gasket and new grill cloth on it. Everything else is original.

Haha. Probably so. I do use the Ampeg sim on my Eden rig and it sounds good. I haven't tried it on my Ampeg though. We practiced This is Amazing Grace by Phil Wickam tonight. I think it turned out good. I wanted to use a pick but the sound wasn't as consistent as i would like so i did it...

They are Heavy. They sound so good though. The SVT-II is easier to carry. I haven't tried a V4b. I would like to. My wife wouldn't appreciate it though.. I might would have to trade my B15n for one.

That reminds me I need to find another tuner for when we play out or another Zoom B3. I wonder what the Ampeg simulation would sound like going through an Ampeg tube head? Would it be twice as good?
