  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Should women obey their husbands even when they don't want to?

Ah, but even non-Christians in some fashion are "bound". They are still judged by the same God. It is the same moral laws that convict them. In Acts, Paul states that the law convicts, and brings a person to saving faith in Christ. Not all come to saving faith, but all are bound by the law.

Should women obey their husbands even when they don't want to?

It's not a question of deserving though. None of us deserve any love nor do we deserve obedience. The fact remains, however, that all are commanded to love and submit (which is a good point, as you stated). I do believe, though, that we should make a distinction between commands given to a.)...

Should women obey their husbands even when they don't want to?

They should in all cases except when his request is in violation of God's law. The same is true under all and any governing authorities. The husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church. I should add that this does not mean that husbands and wives can not work as a...

Is Wearing a Wedding Band Important?

I know I already posted but really, I just think wedding bands are just all around cool. The idea, the look of the bands, the "having an object to propose with", the "having something for a groomsman to lose on purpose" at the wedding itself, .... just so many cool things.

Is Wearing a Wedding Band Important?

Hmm.... call me immature but I've always felt uncomfortable around girls. Honestly, I don't know how to look at them, how much to say around them, etc. etc. But now that I'm married and have a wedding band, I feel much more comfortable around them because of my wedding band. Side note Just...

    Covenant Marriage???

I found this on wikipedia: " A covenant marriage is a modern concept of marriage considered to be a cultural and political response to "no-fault divorce". Couples in a covenant marriage agree to obtain pre-marital counseling before marrying, and accept more limited grounds for divorce. A primary...

    I'm mad right now

You're welcome. There is something I think that does need special note. Although the husband needs to be the head of his household/family (especialy spiritualy), marriage is all about interdependance. So basicly what I mean is: keep going strong, keep praying for your husband, and most...
