I'm a very family oriented person but my definition of family is not simply blood: it is also those who have proven themselves to be closer than friends. I was previously engaged to a man who was not meant for me for 3.5 years. I finally ended it less than a year before our wedding with the strength of G-d. If you want to hear the story, ask.
