CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Born in 1960 in Memphis Tn
Came to know Jesus at a young age, (4 or 5 years old), but was raised in a non Christian home. My aunt and uncle took me to church occasionally as a child. They attended Whitten Heights Church of God (Pentecostal). So, I guess that’s where my roots are buried.
I met my wife Cathy (aka the most beautiful girl in the world) in high school. I married her the day after my 21st birthday in 1981. We started attending St Andrews Community Church just before our marriage under the ministry of Bobby Scobey. He led us into the Charismatic movement. We were filled with the Holy Spirit in 1982 and became involved in the deliverance ministry. We attended Liberty Christian College in Pensacola Fl 1983-1987 where we became involved in children’s ministries. We were hired by St Andrews in 1987 to run the children’s ministry there. Left there in 1990 (a split). I was burned out and floated around for about ten years. I landed at LifeLink Church
