    Christology in the Old Testament

Jesus in the Old Testament was the best bible study for the disciples. "Did not our hearts burn within us as he spoke to us from the scripture." Luke 24:32. "Joseph was thirty years old when he served in the Pharoah's court." "Jesus was thirty when he began his ministry...

THE Foundation for your belief in a God who heals

I just want to add, if I may that this is a large schism in the church. Some believe God's desire is that you be sick, to suffer for Christ. My question to them is, do they think Doctors are Satan's agents, if in fact, God's desire is that we remain sick? Also look at Jesus, He said, "I...

    4 Authors of Genesis?

I think real simply if you go to Jesus and find out what he said about the first five books you'll be amazed that he stands over the liberal theologians as knowing who was the author of the Pentateuch. Matt 8:4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the...

    John 10:10

You're right it doesn't indicate Satan as the thief and Jesus is speaking in regards to those coming before him and after him. Christology in the Old Testament

Just wanted to open up all your insights into the Old Testament shadows of Christ and see how many we can get in here. Weee! Let's go. Start with Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God.." God Elohim- the fullness of God- Colossians "In Him all the fullness of God dwelt in bodily form."...

Idols' names in OT and NT?

Baal- God of fertility Sexual diety. The priests and priestess were at the temple door to have an offering of fornication as a gift to the god Baal. They also passed their children through the fire as an offering. The priests were ironically called "Dogs". Sound familiar? "DAWG!" Later Allah was...

    The transfiguration

I want to add that Moses' body was buried by God. Elijah never tasted death. Like Moses, Jesus' body would be buried where God desired. And like Elijah, he would continue living. Although jesus tasted death, he only did it once and then ascended like Elijah did. All the others are right on too.

    Bible Errancy?

I have a question. I have always wondered why the accounts of the angels after the resurrection were different in each gospel. One here. Two here. Can someone help?
