  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Accuracy of Coronavirus Tests

I havent been able to find an article about this but I've heard from two in the medical field the accuracy is about 70%

Tiger at NYC's Bronx Zoo tests positive for coronavirus

I just hope this doesn't cause more people to get ignorant/cruel to animals - they jump on this bandwagon excuse easily throughout history.

    COVID19 and Heart Issues

There is a mother on Twitter who said her son's heart stopped twice and he has now recovered, but has permanent scarring on his heart. He did not have heart conditions before the virus. Not enough details about all this have been posted with causes of death outside diagnosis, but I'm curious on...

Trump trying to blame the World Health Organisation as his new scapegoat!

I agree with you. They were particularly lax and haven't been that helpful as far as I can see

    Wearing a facemask whilst black?

Most people will be wearing masks out, I don't think his concerns are legitimate. People will be expecting masks more than they'll be fearing them.

Italy’s Coronavirus Death Toll Is Far Higher Than Reported | Wall Street Journal

True, and those who do get hit badly by the virus but survive, may be left in a weaker state to where the next flu that comes around (or even cold in some cases) kills them. Those won't be counted as a COVID-19 virus death either, but again is a result.

She Begged For Mercy. The Utility Cut Her Elderly Parents’ Power Anyway

Sad news for the parents and daughter And this: Her parents’ nurse, covered by Medicaid, stopped coming out of concern that she wouldn’t be able to wash her hands if the trailer lacked electricity to run water pumps, which would put her at greater risk of exposure to COVID-19. “There’s no...

Italy’s Coronavirus Death Toll Is Far Higher Than Reported | Wall Street Journal

I'm sure this is true in every country. People dying of "the flu", or pneumonia and heart attacks without it being counted And let's not forget those who are dying from other medical conditions because they do not have proper medical treatment due to this virus using up the resources - they...

Covid19 - Savior of the Poor??

I don't see it changing in Florida, but who knows. We have one of the lowest unemployment rates and policies in the country, and our governor has made no mention of raising it. Rick Scott complained about people laid off getting 600 because he said it may give them less of an incentive to return...

17 year old dies of coronavirus after being denied treatment due to lack of insurance.

Reading this news article with the information, all the officials just sound confused and like they're arguing with each other me Teen's death no longer counted among Los Angeles County’s coronavirus total

17 year old dies of coronavirus after being denied treatment due to lack of insurance.

Children can easily get it, it just doesn't usually affect them that much. It's mainly safer for those under 9, and he was 17. It is very sad, and of course scary, but there is not a point of hiding the statistics of who really dies and their ages. He was quite young to have died from it but we...
