  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Your own child ending up in hell

Did I somehow imply such a conclusion? I've got a feeling that - irrespective of my possible conclusions, whatever they might be - for some reason you had that one ready right there in your spine.

Your own child ending up in hell

Ok, then: (references to "evils" and "lesser evils" removed) "In retrospect, would you rather have your child never be born and live, if this was the only imaginable thing that you personally could (have) do(ne) otherwise to prevent him/her from ending up in a place of eternal suffering?"

Your own child ending up in hell

Imagine there is a place called hell, a place of "eternal suffering". Imagine you find out that your own child has ended up in that place and that there is nothing you can do about it, and nothing that God plans to do about it. At that moment, would you think that it would have constituted a...

You die and find out that...

So the next question would be: what interest would the Christian God have in people living past their births (or beyond their supposed "age of innocence" - whatever that age would be) in the first place, if there's a place guaranteed in heaven automatically by Him for all those who die before...
